An very nice experience with an attentive staff who provided an upgrade to a spacious suite upon arrival. Breakfast offerings were diverse, with both hot and cold choices, and the old-school lounge provided a cozy retreat. Noise from the neighboring room was disruptive, requiring several calls to the front desk for resolution, and the hotel exhibited some wear common in older establishments.

This hotel was absolutely luxurious. The old style decor was beautiful and the hotel in general was faultless from start of our stay until finish. The hotel restaurant, while pricey, was worth every penny of it. The food was delicious and extremely well presented. Hotel staff were very helpful at all times from queries to booking excursions. The bedroom was very comfortable and the airconditioning worked extremely well during a hot spell is Salzburg. The breakfast was outstanding with a huge range of food. All in all, Salzburg is a beautiful place to visit and if you are going there, make sure you stay at the Bristol Hotel - right in the middle of everything. Well done!

Great location and the hotel staffs were helpful and friendly.
The hotel was quite expensive, however, there's no free internet access in the room and it costs 10 Euro per day...

..The Hotel is like a home away from home.It is a very gracious Hotel. Frau Maier, Front Desk was excellent in her position. Always greeted One as One went to breakfast or left the hotel. This lady should be manager if she is not already. I have stayed in many hotels and Mrs Maier comes up tops. She made one feel at home and could not do enough for me as a guest. From arranging Tours of Salzburg and countryside to Hotel Massage for my aching back. All staff i came in contact with were happy to be of assistance. Also to Johan in the Bar-Restaurant greetings for being a good host.

We spent 4 fantastic nights in a beautiful Junior Suite, and we loved the extensive breakfast spread and relaxing massage options available. Just a heads up, the instant coffee in the room could use an upgrade. A nice Nespresso machine would've been perfect! If you want a cozy stay with plenty of charm, it's definitely worth considering 😊

Competes with Sacher as the best in Salzburg. The location is excellent, and the staff are professional and very friendly. You really feel you're in a classy 5 star hotel.
If you're more into modern design hotel, you won't like it.

The location to the old town.
The hotel was very expensive. The room we were given was small and the beds were twin, hard and uncomfortable. When we complained about poor sleep, two of the staff were very helpful in trying to improve the bed comfort. Wifi was very expensive. We think this hotel is designed for business people.

Buffet breakfast was excellent. Attentive staff, good choice of dishes a god way to start the day, no need for lunch
There is a strange smell in reception, probably damp carpet.
